This summer sailing season will again crown two champions of the district! We will be incorporating
a circuit scoring system just like last year which made things so interesting all summer.
Just like before, the district championship event (held at Clinton Lake last year) will determine the district
champion. The winner of this event recieves that perpetual trophy.
There will also be trophies awarded for the overall circuit score after the final circuit
regatta. Each regatta will count as a score (Just like how each race in a regatta is a score). At the end of the
circuit, each participant's best 4 regatta scores will be totalled (just like counting 4 of 6 races in a regatta) to
determine the Circuit Champion. Be sure to bookmark our page to check back after every regatta!
This way, there could be seperate champions, or just like the Jayhawks, you could win the circuit (regular
season) and the District Championship regatta (Big 12 Tourney). Who will do it this year?
